John Franklin Sprague VFW Post 6796
The Largest VFW Post in North Texas!
Yesterday, Governor Abbott signed Executive Order GA-08. This order pertains to COVID-19 preparedness and mitigation. It boils down to this:
The Post will have to remain closed at least until Saturday, April 4th. This includes all post activities and leases. If we can re-open on the 4th, we will, but lunches and bingo will not happen on the 4th or 5th. The usual 1st Sunday Brunch will not happen on the 5th. We anticipate all other events will go on as scheduled, and the canteen will open at 11:00am on the 4th. Check back here or on our facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/vfw6796/). We will post updates as they become available. In the meanwhile, please stay safe, y’all. We want to see you back !!
